Inagi City Children's Reading Promotion Plan

The Inagi City Children's Reading Promotion Plan is a guideline for efforts to promote children's reading activities in Inagi City.
The first promotion plan was formulated in December 2008, and the second in March 2015. Various initiatives have been implemented under the slogan "Books are friends, Inagi children."

The Third Inagi City Children's Reading Promotion Plan, which will run for five years from fiscal year 2020, was formulated by setting up a formulation committee consisting of schools, kindergartens, daycare centers, local libraries, and citizen members, and soliciting opinions. The plan was formulated in March 2020.
We will further strengthen our efforts to raise interest in reading and promote children's reading activities, focusing on the four pillars we have been focusing on since the first project (improving the reading environment, assigning librarians and training personnel, collaborating with related organizations, and promoting children's reading activities and reading promotion).
