[About iBus] The revised route is inconvenient. |
The current i-bus route had issues before the review, such as regular delays, confusion about whether to go right or left, a long loop, and the existence of areas with poor transportation access. In order to resolve these issues, the Inagi City Regional Public Transportation Review Council, which is made up of citizen representatives, academics, bus operators, and officials from related government agencies, began reviewing issues such as improving i-buses (increasing the number of services and reviewing existing routes) and the overall state of regional public transportation, including route buses, in fiscal 2012. Based on the results of these reviews, new routes and timetables have been in operation since October 1, 2014. When reviewing this route, the condition was that it would be possible to reach the city hospital and city hall, which are heavily used, from each district without having to transfer. However, as a result of reviewing the route to a more compact route in order to reduce the frequency of service, compared to before, some destinations now require transfers, which causes inconvenience. Looking to the future, the plaza on the north side of Minamitama Station is scheduled to be completed in March 2017, allowing route buses to enter the area. Since then, in accordance with the Road Transportation Act, the Inagi City Regional Public Transportation Council was established last year, consisting of citizen representatives, experts, bus operators, and staff from related organizations, and discussions are currently underway regarding the future of public bus transportation within the city, including route buses. In conducting these discussions, we will conduct surveys to collect and consolidate a wider range of opinions and requests, such as compiling opinions and requests from local neighborhood associations and conducting questionnaires using multiple methods, and we will consider ways to make the i-Bus easy to use for all citizens, including the elderly and those raising children. |
[About home medical care] As the elderly population increases, the need for home medical care is growing. Does the city have any plans regarding home medical care? |
Inagi City has implemented some of the most advanced measures in the country in the field of preventive care, and people from all over the country come to inspect the city. Specifically, the city is divided into four areas, and each area has a regional comprehensive support center, which has the core function of local nursing care prevention and operates in an organic manner with the local community. However, this is not enough in the medical field. Historically, medical services in Inagi were provided by the city hospital, and there were not many medical practitioners. Currently, the number of medical practitioners is increasing little by little, but the problem is that many people don't live there. We would like to increase the number of doctors who make rounds and house calls. We also want to investigate the current state of medical resources in the city and create a medical plan to eliminate imbalances in medical services. In the future, we would like to work together with the Inagi City Medical Association and nursing care service providers to build a regional comprehensive care system that can integrate medical care, nursing care, and lifestyle support. |
[About puddles in the park] At Oshidate Kawama-bori Park, water accumulates when it rains heavily. |
I would like to report this to the relevant department and take action. |
[About the evacuation center] I would like you to think about evacuation shelters in the event of a flood, as they are different from disasters such as earthquakes. |
The ``Tama River Flood Hazard Map'' is included in the Inagi Guide Map and Disaster Prevention Map. Evacuation shelters are also listed, so please check them out. We are also considering updating the map in the future depending on the situation. |
[About the fire brigade station] The station for the fire brigade (7th branch) is cramped, so I would like it to be renovated. |
When it comes to the next rebuild, I would like to listen to the opinions of the users when making plans. |
