Thank you to everyone who came to the preview on March 31, 2013. The entire building has been reopened for use from April 1, 2013.
This facility was established in 1976 as Inagi Daiichi Elementary School, and was closed in March 2002 due to the merger with Inagi Daigo Elementary School due to a decrease in the number of students. After consideration with citizen participation, we opened the complex facility Friend Hirao in July 2004.
However, the special building periodic report for fiscal year 2009 was rejected by the supervisory office, and part of the facility could no longer be used. Although the city recognized it as a temporary use of a closed school, the supervisory office made a different decision based on the actual usage.
For this reason, during the first phase of construction in FY2010, we will renovate the first floor and suspend use of the second floor and above. We will again ask the management council for their opinions and consideration, and in FY2012 we will renovate the first floor and suspend the use of the second floor and above. We worked on the second phase of construction. In addition to renovating the fireproof compartment and restrooms, and installing elevators and air conditioning equipment, we also installed solar power generation panels on the roof, taking environmental measures into consideration.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused to our users during this time, and we would like to once again thank the management council and registered users for their understanding and cooperation as we work towards reopening the facility.
At the first regular city council meeting in 2013, an ordinance was enacted to maintain and manage this facility. The entire facility is defined by the "Inagi City Complex Facility Friend Hirao Ordinance," and individual ordinances are established for each use.
The ``Lifestyle and Culture Facilities'', which are rental facilities located on the 1st to 3rd floors, such as the civic hall, conference room, and cooking room, and the ``Local Materials Room'' on the 2nd floor, which was relocated from the Shiroyama Experience Learning Center, are facilities for general public use. is. The "Education Center" on the 3rd to 4th floors and the "Development Support Center" on the 4th floor will be used by targeted children/students, their guardians, faculty and staff, etc. The gymnasium and field can now be used as a new "physical education facility."
Thanks to this renovation, it has become a permanent complex that can be used by people from all over the city in a variety of fields, so please take advantage of it.
