In June 2020, the city completed work to convert street lights to LED lights, which was carried out to reduce the environmental burden by reducing carbon dioxide emissions, reduce electricity costs, and promote safe and secure urban development. As a result, all street lights and security lights in the city have been converted to LED lights, including security lights that have already been converted to LED lights.
Street lights and security lights managed by the city are inspected regularly at night to ensure that they do not interfere with nighttime traffic, and repair work is carried out to repair any burnt out bulbs, damaged or malfunctioning light fixtures that are discovered. Masu.
However, there are some areas that cannot be covered by this inspection alone, so if you notice any problems such as burnt out bulbs, damaged or malfunctioning light fixtures, please refer to the information below and contact us.

For security lights other than those with yellow plates, please check the management number and contact City Hall. If you do not know your management number, please let us know your address and nearby landmarks.
The city regularly prunes street trees (mainly in the winter) to ensure they do not interfere with roads, nearby homes, power lines, etc.
However, there are some areas that cannot be compensated for by this alone, so if you have a street tree that has grown too long and is obstructing traffic, or is overhanging a house or power line, please contact us.
