Street trees, which grow as the city develops, are an important shared asset of the citizens that add color to the town of Inagi.
In addition to ensuring sunlight and ventilation throughout the trees to ensure healthy growth, we also prune the branches and leaves of street trees to improve the shape of individual trees and the landscape of the tree lined area. At this time, we strive to maintain the shape of the tree as close to its natural shape as possible.
The shrubbery between the sidewalk and the roadway becomes a hindrance to traffic if its branches grow too long, so the trees are trimmed regularly depending on the tree species.
In order to prevent pests from appearing on roadside trees and causing a nuisance to the roadsides, we spray pesticides during the pest season to prevent the damage from spreading.
As the trees grow, the roots near the ground become thicker and may lift up surrounding road pavements and blocks in planting boxes, so repairs are carried out as necessary. We also maintain and manage old tree supports and tree circles.
Street trees shed their leaves after the autumn leaves season in preparation for next year's growth. The city is also cleaning up the area, and we ask for the understanding and cooperation of everyone in the area.
