In order to promote the realization of a gender-equal society in Inagi City, we provide meeting space and library space.
The Gender Equality Promotion Center has an information corner, a meeting corner, and a kids' room.
"A society in which men and women, as equal members of society, are guaranteed the opportunity to participate of their own volition in activities in all areas of society, whereby men and women can enjoy political, economic, social and cultural benefits equally and in which they should both bear responsibilities" (Article 2 of the Basic Act for Gender Equality)

We have books on gender equality on the shelves. Anyone can read them.
If you wish to borrow a book, please present identification (such as your personal identification number card or city library card) at the office on the first floor of the Regional Promotion Plaza.

The books on this list are available for loan. Please use all means.
Information materials corner
This space can accommodate about 10 people and can be used by organizations registered with the Gender Equality Promotion Center. Monitors and DVD players are also available. Free Wi-Fi is also available (ID and password are posted in the facility).
Registered organizations can use this service if they are carrying out activities that contribute to gender equality.
To register your organization or apply for use, please contact the Gender Equality Section of the Civic Collaboration Division at City Hall. Reservations can be made up to three months in advance.
Meeting corner
Please use this area as a place for temporary childcare for infants while activities are taking place in the meeting corner or the Regional Promotion Plaza Conference Room. Also, please use this area for group activities that include citizens accompanied by infants.
