Inagi City Youth Committee
A junior worker seminar attended by 5th grade elementary school students to 3rd year junior high school students in the city. Through various programs and games designed by youth workers, you can deepen your friendships with friends you are meeting for the first time. In addition, they communicate with the group members they work with throughout the year, and work together with friends of different ages from different schools to overcome various challenges.
During camp training in July, students cooked in nature using the ingredients they won in outdoor games. Work together with your group mates to start a fire and make delicious curry. In the evening, we will have fun by the campfire prepared by the youth workers.
In August, I traveled far from Inagi and spent 2 nights and 3 days overnight training in Takato, Nagano Prefecture. Through many extraordinary experiences such as hiking, field games, and campfires, students will have valuable time as individuals and as a team.
In the seminars from September onwards, the students will have various experiences in and around the city, learning many things with the friends they have grown with. Last year, they explored nature in the Inagi Forest and made their own plans to go to the Edo-Tokyo Open Air Architectural Museum.
