Subsidies will be issued to those who have undergone health checkups for pregnant women and hearing tests for newborns at medical institutions outside of Tokyo due to homecoming births, etc. Please apply at the counter.
Note: Foreign medical institutions are excluded.
Inagi City Homecoming Pregnant Woman Health Checkup Subsidy

Those who have undergone a prenatal checkup at a medical institution or midwifery center outside of Tokyo due to reasons such as returning home
Note: Medical examinations covered by health insurance and checkups for pregnancy determination are not covered.
Subsidy amount
- First pregnancy health check: 10,980 yen (10,880 yen for checkups up to March 31, 2024)
- 5,140 yen from the second visit (5,090 yen for consultations until March 31, Reiwa 6)
- Ultrasound examination for pregnant women 5,300 yen
- Cervical cancer screening 3,400 yen

Newborn hearing test consultation fee subsidy

Those who received a newborn hearing test at a medical institution outside of Tokyo due to reasons such as returning home before reaching 50 days after birth.

Pregnant woman health checkup subsidy for multiple pregnant women

Pregnant women with multiple pregnancies who have undergone a prenatal health checkup after April 1, 2023 and are registered as residents in Inagi City on the date of the checkup

Actual expenses will be paid up to 5,000 yen per checkup for pregnant women. (up to 5 times)

(Note) If there are special circumstances in which you are applying after one year has passed from the date of birth, please fill out the application form (free format) with the background and reasons for one year passing, and attach it to the application form. .

Note 1 Completed documents (from the date of birth) can also be accepted at the Hirao/Wakabadai branch office (excluding applications for subsidies for pregnant women's health checkups for pregnant women with multiple births) . Please contact the Oyako Comprehensive Support Center for details regarding the content and attached documents.
Note 2: We will keep the original receipt once (about 3 to 4 months), so if you plan to submit a tax return, please apply well in advance.
