Subsidies for purchasing daily necessities and improving housing facilities

　We provide subsidies to help people with disabilities purchase welfare equipment that will improve their daily lives.

　In principle, severely disabled people who hold a Physical Disability Certificate, a Love Certificate, or a Mental Disability Health and Welfare Certificate and live at home

Note: If you are covered by the long-term care insurance, please use the long-term care insurance system for items covered by the insurance.
Note: Patients with intractable diseases who are deemed to need the benefit may be eligible for benefits.

　As a general rule, users are responsible for 10% of the base price of the item purchased (the base price varies depending on the item), and there is a certain upper limit depending on the household income. Any amount exceeding the base price must be paid by the user.

　Subsidies cannot be provided after the purchase of daily living equipment has been made, so please be sure to consult with us before making a purchase.

Fees will be paid by either "reimbursement payment" or "received on behalf of the recipient."

　Reimbursement payment: Pay the full amount to the contractor at once, then receive the subsidy from the city later. Receipt on behalf of the contractor: Pay only the self-paid amount to the contractor, and the city pays the remaining amount (subsidy amount) to the contractor.

Note: The agency receipt method may take longer than the reimbursement payment method because a contract must be signed between the city and the contractor.

　Subsidies are provided for renovation costs for entrances and other areas to make daily life more convenient for people with severe physical disabilities (school-age children and above) who live at home. However, if you are eligible for benefits for home renovations from the long-term care insurance system, the long-term care insurance system takes priority.

　As with daily living items, please be sure to consult with us before making any modifications.
