Dementia is generally a disease common among the elderly, but when it develops in people under the age of 65, it is called "early-onset dementia." Because early-onset dementia develops in people in the prime of their working lives, it has a significant impact on not only the lives of the people themselves but also their families, so early detection and treatment are important.
This is a one-stop consultation service for early-onset dementia set up by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
Specialized counselors respond to inquiries from the individual, their family, and related organizations (such as the local comprehensive support center). We provide support and answer a variety of inquiries, including consultations at medical institutions, social security procedures, use of nursing care insurance services, employment support, and concerns from the individual and their family.
