Dementia is generally a disease of the elderly, but when it develops before the age of 65, it is called “young-onset dementia”. Since young onset dementia develops in the prime of life, it has a large impact on the lives of not only the individual but also the family, so early detection and early treatment are important.
This is a one-stop consultation service for early-onset dementia established by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
Professional counselors will respond to consultations from the person, family, and related organizations (community comprehensive support center, etc.). We provide consultation and support for a variety of issues, including consultations at medical institutions and social security procedures, use of nursing care insurance services, employment support, and concerns about the individual and their families.
Please feel free to call us first.
