In order for all people to feel safe in their familiar areas, it is important for each person living in the community to prevent abuse and work to create a community where people can help each other.
The burden on families caring for the elderly is greater than one might imagine. In order to prevent abuse, it is important for local residents not to isolate the elderly from the community, such as by saying warm words to and watching over the families caring for them or the elderly living alone, so that they are not burdened with the burden of providing care alone.
Inagi City has created a leaflet to make more people aware of elder abuse and to prevent abuse in the community.
Elder abuse is a problem that can occur all around us.
With your awareness, you can prevent abuse from becoming more serious.
Please make use of the leaflet.
