FY2020 Breast Cancer Screening (Group Screening Using Screening Vehicles): Target People 40 and Over

Breast cancer is a cancer that can be treated if detected early. For early detection, have regular checkups once every two years.

Guidance

• In FY 2020, those who fall under the age range in the table below and have not undergone the Inagi City Breast Cancer Screening since FY 2020 will receive a "recommendation postcard" or "free coupon" from the city in place of the consultation ticket required for the screening. We will send you a ticket.
• If you are eligible, you do not need to apply for a medical examination ticket as described below.
• If you have received a notification and would like to be examined using a breast cancer screening vehicle , please apply from the "Logo Form" dedicated form for coupon eligible persons or by "calling the health center" during the application period shown in the table below. please.

• Women who are 40 years old or older (born before April 1, 1985) and have not had a medical examination since 2020

Note: The following people cannot take the test. When deciding whether to undergo a medical examination, please follow the instructions of the medical institution conducting the examination.

Note: If you have symptoms (chest pain, lumps, etc.), please visit the outpatient clinic instead of coming for a checkup.
Note: If you have a chronic illness and you have a doctor, please consult with them in advance about undergoing breast cancer screening.

Note: According to national guidelines, people in their 40s will be photographed in two directions, and people over 50 will be photographed in one direction.

Note: In the event of a large number of applications, a lottery may be held.

Note: Breast cancer screening (individual examinations) are also conducted at the Inagi City Hospital Health Checkup Center.

• Please apply for a medical examination voucher at the Inagi City Health Center using one of the methods during the application period in the table above.

(1) Postcard or sealed letter

Please write "Application for Breast Cancer Screening (Screening Van)" as the subject of the application, fill in the following information, and mail it to Inagi City Health Center.

(2) Apply via the Logo Form (online)

(3) Fill out the designated application form at the Inagi City Health Center counter

　Opening hours: Weekdays from 8:30am to 5:00pm (closed on Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, and December 29th to January 3rd)　

• Copayment: 3,030 yen

Note: If your health insurance card states that your copayment is 10%, the fee is 1,010 yen. If your health insurance card states that your copayment is 20%, the fee is 2,020 yen. (You must present your health insurance card at the reception.)

Persons eligible for exemption from contribution

If you fall under any of the following categories (1), (2), or (3) as of the date of your consultation, you will be exempt from paying any copayments. Please note that you will need to complete the necessary procedures in advance .

Notes: Common matters

• One certificate is required for each type of cancer screening you receive.
• All certificates are valid for up to six months after issue .
