The Tokyo Metropolitan Government recommends ``sprinkling water at home'' this summer as people will be spending more time at home due to telework and other factors.
Why not try uchimizu with your family to stay cool at home during the hot summer?
〇Doing it in the morning and evening will keep you cool and effective.
〇We recommend sowing in the shade rather than in the sun (drying quickly during the day when the sun is strong).
Note: When performing uchimizu, be careful to prevent the spread of infectious diseases by keeping your distance from other people and disinfecting your hands and tools.
The "Uchimizu Weather" special website (Tokyo Metropolitan Government Bureau of Environment) provides a variety of information about uchimizu.
For more information, please visit the special Uchimizu Biyori website (Tokyo Metropolitan Government Bureau of Environment) .
Uchimizu goods (tenugui handkerchiefs) are being distributed at the General Information Center on the 1st floor of City Hall.
Note: There is a limited quantity, so distribution will end as soon as it runs out.
