This law came into effect on April 1, 2018, with the aim of contributing to ensuring and maintaining a safe living environment and promoting environmental beautification.

Throughout the city, people should try not to smoke on the streets, etc., when there are other people nearby.

Regulations in areas where smoking is prohibited, such as on the streets

Smoking on the streets is prohibited in areas where smoking is prohibited .
A fine (2,000 yen) is prescribed for those who violate the law.
