Request for maintenance and management of grease interceptor

Last updated: April 1, 2011

For everyone working in restaurants! Please clean the grease interceptor regularly.

During the cold season, oil used for cooking etc. tends to solidify in the sewer pipes.
In Inagi City, sewer pipes were clogged, thought to be caused by cooking oil, and nearby residents were unable to properly drain wastewater into the sewer pipes.
Please regularly clean the built-in grease traps to prevent oil used in cooking from flowing directly into the sewer pipes.
Note: Please install an obstruction device in stores such as restaurants.
