Effects of conclusion of the agreement

  1. The rate of reuse of used PET bottles transported from the city into PET bottles can be increased to approximately 100%.
  2. By using recycled PET bottles at the Suntory Tamagawa Factory (Daimaru), we will achieve "local production for local consumption" of PET bottles and "visualize" recycling for citizens.
  3. By continuously recycling plastic resources, citizens, governments, and businesses will work together to realize a "sustainable recycling society" and contribute to the promotion of SDGs.

Request from the city

To recycle plastic bottles, it is essential to collect clean plastic bottles. We ask for your understanding and cooperation in how to properly dispose of plastic bottles.
