Precious metals such as rare metals are used in small electronic devices such as digital cameras and game consoles.
As a new recycling initiative, the city has set up dedicated collection boxes in 11 locations, including city halls, cultural centers, and home appliance stores, and is collecting used small electronic devices in nine categories.
You can put it in the box during the opening hours of each facility, so if you have small electronic devices that you have finished using at home, please use them.

Note: Please be sure to erase the data in advance before bringing anything that contains personal information.
Note: Items placed in the collection box cannot be taken out.
Note: Remove the box/bag and put only the target small electronic devices into the box.
Note: Please remove the batteries and put them out on the hazardous waste collection day.

What about collected small electronic devices?

A recycling company certified by the Ministry of the Environment transports the product to a recycling plant in Japan, where it is disassembled, crushed, and sorted. As a result, precious metal resources such as rare metals can be recycled, and the amount of non-burnable waste can also be reduced.
