Boat Race Edogawa

Inagi City, together with Tama City and Akiruno City, forms a partial administrative association called the Tokyo Three Cities Revenue Business Association, and operates a boat racing business at the Edogawa Boat Race.
Like horse racing, bicycle racing, and auto racing, this is a publicly managed sport regulated by the Motorboat Racing Act, and the profits from this event are used as a valuable financial resource for the city to promote urban development, including urban infrastructure development projects.
Edogawa Boat Race is the only race course among the 24 racecourses in Japan that uses a river (it uses the Nakagawa Floodway, a Class 1 river).
When you come to the racetrack, you will be greeted by two Daigenjin statues at the entrance. Once you step inside the track, you will find Shigeru Mizuki's works, as well as signs and paintings from old movies, giving you a retro Showa-era feel.
In addition, the facility will house an external sales outlet called "BOAT RACE 365," and will also have strict separation of smoking and non-smoking areas, improved air conditioning, and a cafe space, making it a space that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.
