Take precautions to prevent infection when using first aid.

Due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, please be careful of the following points in order to prevent the infection of those providing first aid in an emergency.

• Let's wear a mask.

• Wear gloves or vinyl gloves and avoid touching the person directly.

• If you are indoors, ventilate the room.

• Let's provide first aid with the minimum number of people necessary to avoid crowding.

• Don't get too close when checking breathing.

Perform chest compressions only; do not perform artificial respiration.
To prevent infection, cover the other person's mouth with a cloth or mask before performing chest compressions.

Family members who have been trained and willing to perform artificial respiration should perform artificial respiration in addition to chest compressions.
If you have an artificial respiration mouthpiece (with a one-way valve), use it.
