At the Hirao branch office, we have measured the air radiation dose based on the city air radiation dose measurement response policy, and we would like to announce the results.
In addition, during this measurement, there were no locations that required cleaning, etc. (locations that exceeded the judgment standard value (0.23 microsieverts per hour)).
Note: Regarding the Wakabadai branch office, please refer to " Local measurement results of spatial radiation dose at the Cultural Center " (i-Plaza).
Name of facility | measuring date | weather | Measurement location | Measured value (unit: microsieverts per hour) |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 centimeter on the ground | ||||
Hirao branch office | 2016 July 5th |
cloudy | Under the gutter on the east side | 0.067 |
west gutter | 0.083 | |||
Under the bulletin board | 0.092 |
【explanation】
When converted from 0.23 microsieverts per hour to 0.99864 millisieverts per year, it is lower than the radiation dose index (1 millisievert or less per year (excluding natural radiation dose, etc.)) recommended by the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) for ordinary people to receive.
According to the Ministry of the Environment's "Decontamination Guidelines", if the radiation dose at 1 meter above the ground is below 0.23 microsieverts per hour, no further action will be taken.
