In the aftermath of large-scale disasters such as the Great East Japan Earthquake, the Kumamoto Earthquake, and the heavy rains of July 2018, the administrative functions of the affected local governments declined significantly immediately after the disaster occurred. Under these circumstances, in January 2018, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government formulated the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Plan for Receiving and Supporting Disaster Aid. etc. have been prepared.
For this reason, in order to build a system for receiving and supporting support in collaboration with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, based on the Inagi City Regional Disaster Prevention Plan, specific roles, contact points, requests for support, preparations for receiving support, etc. With the aim of clarifying the necessary rules, procedures, systems, etc. as much as possible and building a smooth cooperation system with other local governments and disaster prevention related organizations, in June 2022, Inagi City received support in the event of a disaster.
