A person who has paid premiums for 36 months or more (including the number of months converted to partial exemption) as a Category 1 insured person dies without receiving either the old-age basic pension or the disability basic pension, and the bereaved family If the bereaved family basic pension is not available, it will be paid to the bereaved family who lived with the deceased.

Things necessary

If the claimant is from the same household as the deceased

(1) Certified copy of family register ・If the claimant and the deceased are on the same family register ⇒The certified copy of the claimant's family register (issued after the date of death and shows the relationship to the deceased)
・If the claimant is on a separate family register from the deceased person ⇒ A combination of a copy of the claimant's family register and a copy of the deceased's removed family register, etc.
(2) Resident's card of the claimant (post date of death, details of the claimant and all members of the household, including "permanent domicile", "household head", "relationship", and "changes" thing)
(3) Removed resident card of the deceased (post date of death, registered domicile and relationship)
(4) Passbook of deposit (savings) of claimant (5) Notification of basic pension number/pension handbook of deceased person (6) Identity verification documents of claimant (My number card, driver's license, etc.)
Note: Submission of (2) and (3) can be omitted by filling in the claimant's main number.

If the claimant is in a different household from the deceased

(4) Deposit (savings) passbook of claimant (5) Notification of basic pension number/pension handbook of deceased person (6) Certificate of maintenance of livelihood/identity (certificate of third party or document certifying relationship of identity of livelihood) is required)
(7) Identity verification documents of the requester (My number card, driver's license, etc.)
