What is a basic pension number?

From January 1997, the code numbers assigned to members of the National Pension, Employees' Pension, and Mutual Aid Pension were integrated into the Basic Pension Number.
In addition, from October 2015, the employee pension system was unified, and the mutual aid pension was unified into the employee's pension.
As a result, even if the subscription system changes, the number can be used without changing.
With this basic pension number, the state of pension participation throughout the entire period of the public pension is recorded, making it possible to receive pension consultations and receive pension decisions more quickly and reliably.
