There are various types of nursing homes, each with different characteristics and target populations.

Special elderly nursing home

This facility is for people who have been certified as requiring long-term care (as a general rule, between 3 and 5) and who have difficulty living at home (those who require support cannot enter the facility). Please contact the facility directly regarding the application procedure.
Note: People with nursing care level 1 and 2 can only move in if there are special circumstances.

Low cost nursing home

This is for people aged 60 and over who have difficulty living at home due to family or housing circumstances, or those with low incomes and no relatives. Please contact the facility directly regarding the application procedure.

Paid Nursing Home

It is established and operated mainly by the private sector. Please contact the facility directly regarding the application procedure.

Those who find it difficult to live at home due to physical or mental reasons, or those who find it difficult to live at home due to housing deprivation, etc., may use private housing or facilities in other ways. Those who are judged to be difficult are eligible. The consultation desk is the Elderly Welfare Section of the Elderly Welfare Section of the city hall.
