Long-term care insurance is a system that allows everyone to live with peace of mind.
Municipalities take the initiative in managing the system, and people aged 40 and over contribute insurance premiums as subscribers, and those who need nursing care can use the service.
In the past, long-term care was considered to be provided by family members, but as the population ages, the number of elderly people who need long-term care is increasing, the number of nuclear families is increasing, and people leaving their jobs due to long-term care have become social problems.
Under these circumstances, the long-term care insurance system was established in 2000 with the aim of reducing the burden on families and supporting nursing care by society as a whole.
